Kathy Lynn Killian

Kathy Lynn Killian, 60, of Clarksburg, WV previously of Glengary, WV passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the United Hospital Center. She was born on September 14, 1964 in Montgomery County, MD, daughter of the late Fred Thompson and Katherine Levasseur.

Kathy was a devoted mother that filled her family’s lives with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them, especially her grandson. Kathy also found the greatest joy in riding, caring for, and showing horses. Her presence will be missed, but her memory will remain a guiding light for all who loved her.

Kathy is survived by her companion of several years, James Seale of Orange, VA; two sons: Joseph A. Killian and Matthew Killian both of Clarksburg; one grandson, Isiah Killian of Gerrardstown, WV; siblings: Charlotte Kelly and spouse Bernie of Mount Airy, MD, Ronald Levasseur and spouse Cindy of MD, and Eugene Levasseur.

In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Killian.

Kathy’s final wish was to donate her remains to WVU Human Gift Registry.
