Katherine Elizabeth Pumphrey

Katherine Elizabeth Pumphrey, 82 of, Bridgeport, passed away at her home on Friday, September 6, 2024.  She was born on October 14, 1941 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late George Faris and Helen Tenney Faris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pumphrey who passed away in 2009.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Lynch and husband, Gregory of Bridgeport; four grandchildren, Nicole Vernon, Shannon Hager and husband Wesley, Jaclyn Cleghorn and husband Chris Boone, and Jonathan Cleghorn and wife, Marissa Keenan; and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Pumphrey, II; and brothers and sisters, Eleanor Cox, Patricia Beverly, Barbara Costello, Ruth Gaines and Tom Faris.

Katherine was a 1959 graduate of WI High School.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and refurbishing furniture, crocheting and taking great care of her family.
