Katherine Louise Lipscomb

Katherine Louise Lipscomb, 55, of Philippi passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her daughter’s residence with family by her side. She was born February 21, 1964 in Kingwood, the daughter of the late Fredrick Thomas and Mary Madgelene Bucklew Lipscomb.

Katherine was a homemaker for many, many years. Her interests and hobbies included sewing, reading, cooking, and baking. She loved to do handy work and to “get her hands dirty”. Katherine was a very lovely woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

Katherine is survived by her three children, Mary Stahl and Robert, Worthington, Thomas Haslacker and Brittany, Wichester, VA, and Amanda Dawn Edgell and Steve, Philippi; grandchildren, Marcus Haller, Hannah Haller, Gunner Haller, and Logan Haller, Willow Haslacker, Austin Stahl and Haley Stahl; siblings, Rosa Henline and Terry, Fredrick “Randy” Lipscomb, Mellie Henthorne, and Kenneth “Kenny” Lipscomb, all of Buckhannon.  

In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by siblings, Sharon, Virginia, and Stanley Lipscomb.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 9AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00AM with Rev Ray Frankhouser officiating with proper distancing and face mask required. We will be webcasting the service on his memorial page on the funeral home website. If for some reason the webcast drops, we will finish recording and reload once completed to watch.
