Karen Sue Moore

Karen Sue Moore, 56, of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025.  She was born on July 11, 1968 in Bridgeport, WV a daughter of the late Harold and Martha Taylor Stout.

Karen was survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert Moore whom she married on February 10, 1987.

Karen graduated from Philip Barbour High School. She was a devoted wife and dedicated homemaker, pouring her heart into creating a warm and loving home for her family. Karen’s greatest joy came from being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than watching them grow. Karen also had a great joy for cooking.

In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by her children: Joshua Moore and fiancé Kayla Spruill of Buckhannon, Jessica Caputo and spouse Joshua of Mississippi, and Courtney Moore and fiancé Michael Stackpole of Clarksburg; grandchildren: Seth May, Riley Ayars, Levi Lawrence, Myles Moore, Addy Watson, and Kynna Watson; three sisters, Kathy Stout of Bridgeport, Chrissy Knapp of Brownton, and Lori Cagnetta of Houston, Texas.

In addition to her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by one sister, Terri Tallman.

Per Karen’s wishes she will be cremated.
