Karen Kay Feight, 81, of Lake Floyd, Salem West Virginia, passed away on May 17, 2025. She was the daughter of Robert Warner and Catherine Warner who preceded her in death. She is survived by a sister Roberta Wilfong and a brother Boyd Warner. She was a graduate of Salem College and taught 5th and 6th grade at VanHorn Grade School in Salem, WV for many years before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Feight, who served his country in the Vietnam War.
She is also survived by her six nieces and nephews, Byron Wilfong, Mark Wilfong, Boyd Warner III, Amberly Wait and Bobby Warner, along with several great nieces and nephews that adored her and thought she was the world's greatest cook; Garrett Warner, John Wilfong III, Lauren Warner, Anna Wilfong, Clay Wilfong, Jackson Warner, Audrey Wait, Brooke Wilfong, Riley Warner, Coleman Wait, Gage Warner, Madison Warner, Logan Warner, Amelia Wait and Lucas Warner.
She was an active member of the Salem Baptist Church where she served as a Deacon.
Visitation will be at 12:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church 153 East Main St., Salem, West Virginia on May 24, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. There will be a meal served after the services. Following Karen’s wishes, she will be cremated and her cremains will be spread with her mother’s at Lake Floyd.
