Justin James Whaley

Justin James Whaley, 80, of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at United Hospital Center. He was born on November, 21, 1942 in Uniontown, PA, son of the late James Cannon and Abigail Honse Whaley.

Justin received his Masters in Psychology from WVU and a Bachelors in Psychology from Villanova University. Justin worked as a Director of DUI Services at Valley Health Care. In his younger years he enjoyed playing basketball. He loved to read and enjoyed watching western shows.

Justin is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Elizabeth “Correll” Whaley; two sons, Michael Brian and wife Stephanie of Clarksburg and Patrick Christopher of Fairmont; one daughter Justine Jean McNutt and husband Shawn of Starkville, MS; one brother, James Honse and wife Diane of Burnt Hills, NY; ten grandchildren, Michael Christopher Whaley, Cody Ryan Whaley and wife Jonni Jo, Kaden Holloway and her partner Ashley, Colten Whaley, Abby, Evie Whaley all of Fairmont, Gwen McNutt, Alec McNutt, Brady McNutt all of Starkville, MS, and Mikey Nottingham of Clarksburg; seven great-grandchildren, Shawn Whaley, Josiah Whaley, Oliviah Whaley, Paisley Whaley, and Avery Whaley all of Clarksburg, Finnlee and Cywren both of Clarksburg; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Justin is preceded in death by two sisters, Abigail Ruane and Barbara Ellenzweig.

Per family’s request Justin will be cremated.
