Junius “J.K.” Kimmel Musser IV, 51, of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Maplewood Healthcare Center. He was born on January 14, 1974, in Clarksburg, a son of the late Junius Kimmel Musser III and Sara Catherine Trecost.
Junius is survived by his sister, Kristi Anne Musser of Bridgeport; several cousins.
In addition to his parents, J.K. is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank “Chuck” Trecost and Antoinette Trecost Bissett; paternal grandparents, Junius “June Musser II and Jean Musser; aunts and uncles: Larry and Francis Foreman, Patsy and Sally “Corky” Trecost.
J.K. graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1992 and worked for the FBI and Criss Cross. He shared a special bond with his father, cherishing every moment they spent together. He found joy and laughter in life’s simple pleasures, like watching The Golden Girls and sharing a good laugh. J.K. was both gentle and strong, a man whose warmth could fill a room. He never met a stranger, greeting everyone with kindness and an open heart. A devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, his faith remained steadfast, and he stayed involved until the very end, never missing the chance to take communion and be close to the Lord he loved so deeply. Kristi would like to thank the staff of Maplewood Healthcare Center for the excellent care and love they showed over the past twenty years.
Family will receive friends at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr. Rt. 98, Clarksburg on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a Graveside to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery at 11:30AM with Deacon John Yaquinta as celebrant.
