Judith Carolyn Mayse

Judith “Judy” Carolyn Mayse, 80 of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at River Oaks Healthcare Center. She was born August 03, 1944 in Michigan, daughter of the late James “Jim” and Tensie Squires Nicholson.

Judy graduated from Victory High School and got her Nursing Degree at Fairmont State College. She retired as a Registered Nurse at United Hospital Center with 40 years of service. Judy cared for everyone she came into contact with. She was very nurturing and loved helping others. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Judy attended Horizons Church.

Judy is survived by her one son, Phillip Mayse and wife Pauline of Chino Hills, CA; two grandchildren, Brittany and Bridgette Mayse of Chino Hills, CA; two brothers, Phillip Nicholson and spouse Becky of Clarksburg and James Nicholson and spouse Jackie of Chino Hills, CA.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Budge McLean Mayse who passed on October 3, 2023; one sister, Sheila Loy.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1PM until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 3:00PM with Rev George Freeman officiating.
