Juanita L. (Cain) Davis

Juanita L Cain Davis, 96 of Bridgeport passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at her nieces’ residence in Morgantown, WV where she made her home for the last seven years.

She was born in Clarksburg on September 12, 1927, daughter of the late Arthur and Theresa Harriett “Retha” Perine Cain.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Carson Edward Davis on March 31, 2009, whom she married on October 7, 1949.

Surviving is one sister, Lorraine Hutson, Morgantown; niece, Beth Cober and husband Randy, Morgantown; one nephew, Douglas Hutson and wife Billie, Salem; three great nephews, David Hutson and wife Bethany, Morgantown; Ryan Hutson and wife Jessica, Barnsville, OH, Andy Clump and wife Anne, Morgantown; four great great nephews, Derek and Garrett Hutson, Nicholas and Jack Clump; five great great nieces, Ava and Lily Clump, Kinleigh Hutson, Savanna and Addison Hutson.

In addition to her husband and parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her sister, Lona Katherine Davis and husband Isaac; brother-in-law, Allen Hutson.

Juanita graduated from Doddridge County High School. She worked at Maidenform Sewing Factory for twenty-eight years and Rite Aid for five years. She was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and traveling to the beach. 

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 4-8PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00AM with Pastor Denver Burnside officiating. Interment will take place at K of P Cemetery, Salem.
