Joseph Michael “Mike” Welch, 75, of Anmoore, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at United Hospital Center. He was born on February 25, 1950 in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Frank and Christine Ball Welch.
Mike graduated from Bridgeport High School. He worked at Dollar Tree as a manager for 15 years and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Bridgeport. Mike was a devoted family man, a passionate coach, and a lifelong sports fan who especially loved the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, Notre Dame, and Bridgeport. He found joy in coaching little league, where his love for the game and for mentoring young players truly shined. Above all else, Mike loved his family deeply. Time spent with his loved ones was what he cherished most. His heart was big, his spirit generous-always putting others before himself. Compassionate, kind, and full of love, he left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Mike is survived by his niece and nephews, Beth Limer and husband Doug, Clarksburg, John Michael Teter, Morgantown, and Joe Teter and wife Melissa, Bridgeport; great nieces and nephews, Casey Limer, Ashley Limer, Lorraine Teter, Emma Teter, Joseph “Joey” Teter, Zachary Teter, Austin Teter and companion Lindsey Feathers; great-great nieces and nephew, Maddelynn Feathers, Maddox Creed and one on the way, Lainey Lynn; beloved dogs, Bella and Luna.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Ann Teter and her husband Jack.

Catholic Rites will be held at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Father Walt Jagela presiding.
