Jose "Joseph" Antonio Barker

Jose Antonio Barker, 61, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at his home.  He was born on September 18, 1963 in Portsmouth, VA a son of Franklin Delano Barker and Alicia Maria Santiago Barker.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Lisa George Barker; five children, Samarra Taber and her husband Nick of Salem, Angelia Barker and her fiancée Zack, Joseph Barker, II of TN Micah Berkshire of Eugene OR and Twila Ollom of Grafton; seven grandchildren, Helena, Salem, Brylee, Casey, Indy, Jackson, and Emma; two brothers, Dan Barker and wife, Mary James and Steve Barker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Kim Watson and Rob and Wanda Moneypenney; and several nieces and nephews.

Jose was a 1983 graduate of WI High School and he was also a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.  He was employed at Krogers, Merricks and Food Lion.  He was an avid drummer who loved all types of music.  He was a collector of media, including movies and records and KISS memorabilia.  Joe was a jovial and outgoing person who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
