John Moore Obituary

John David Moore, 81, of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at his residence. He was born on October 12, 1941, in Clarksburg, WV, son of the late Raymond W Moore and Edna Marie Moody.

John worked as an electrician for Gray Electric for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching his sports especially the WVU team. He also enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales and wood working. He loved spending time in the great outdoors.

John is survived by his daughter Susan B Moore of Clarksburg; son Michael G Moore of PA; three granddaughters Jenny Moore of Clarksburg, Megan Moore of Grafton, and Becky Moore of Grafton.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara Ann Flanagan. He is also preceded in death by one brother James D Moore.

Per his request he will be cremated.
