Jesse James Andrews, Jr.

With hearts full of love, we announce the peaceful passing of Jesse James Andrews, Jr., a cherished husband, devoted father, adoring grandfather, beloved brother, and treasured friend, on March 2nd, 2025, in Bridgeport, WV. He was 82 years young.

Born on May 6th, 1942, in Wilmington, Delaware, Jesse radiated integrity, kindness, and a playful humor that warmed every room. His greatest joy was found in the loving embrace of his family, especially his beloved wife, Charlotte, with whom he shared 65 beautiful years.

Jesse's loving spirit will be forever missed by his children, Kimberly Martin, Gregory Andrews, and Michelle Andrews, as well as, his nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He leaves behind his sisters,Dana Bailey, Mary Schiel, Dwanna Gibson, and Rusty Andrews joining his brother, Paul Andrews, and his parents, Jesse and Mary Andrews, in eternal peace.

Jesse's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with acts of love, from building homes and offering shelter, to sharing meals and comforting hearts. He was a gifted craftsman, a talented carpenter and electrician, but his greatest masterpiece was the love he poured into his family. His warmth, his love, and his gentle spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Davis Funeral Home at 124 Olen Thomas Dr.,Clarksburg, WV 26301 from 2pm until the time of the Celebration of Jesse's beautiful life at 2:30 PM with Pastor Sheldon Nickerson officiating. Food and drinks will be served after the celebration. Dress preference is business casual.
