Jeremy Collin Warner

Jeremy Collin Warner, 37, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 19, 2026, in Ohio as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Born on November 22, 1988, in Wise, Virginia, Jeremy was the son of Lawrence “Larry” Oscar Warner of Montrose and Brenda Jean Hitt Pertz and her late husband, Michael Thomas Pertz, of Roanoke, West Virginia.

Jeremy was a graduate of Amherst Steele High School in Amherst, Ohio. Following graduation, he answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army. During his military career, he completed tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, serving with courage, dedication, and honor. His service earned him numerous commendations, including the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star.

Jeremy was a hardworking, determined man who never shied away from a challenge. He was known for taking risks, working tirelessly to provide for his family, and living life on his own terms. Whether serving his country, pursuing a demanding career, or enjoying the outdoors, Jeremy embraced life with energy and passion. He had a strong work ethic and took great pride in his profession. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Dilling Group as a Project Manager, helping construct a major data center in Ohio. He was also a skilled pipefitter whose craftsmanship and leadership earned the respect of coworkers and friends alike.

Outside of work, Jeremy enjoyed golfing, hunting, collecting firearms and gaming. He loved spending time outdoors and making memories with family and friends. More than anything, he cherished his family. His greatest pride and joy were his children, whom he loved beyond measure.

In addition to his parents and stepfather, Jeremy is survived by his wife, Shannon Marie Nutter Warner, whom he married on January 24, 2009; his three children, Payge Warner and twins Zoey and Jeremy L. Warner; two brothers, Josh Warner and wife Monique of Montrose, and Shaun Warner and wife Amanda of Elyria, Ohio; nieces and nephew, Brianna Warner, Colby Warner, and Katielynn Warner; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Jeremy leaves behind a legacy of service, strength, hard work, and unwavering love for his family. Though his life was cut far too short, the impact he made on those who knew him will never be forgotten. His adventurous spirit, generous heart, and determination to overcome any obstacle will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Also, through his consistent generosity, he was a dedicated donor with Lifeline of Ohio. By donating, he helped save 4 lives and potential for over 200 more making a lasting impact on others.

Private services and burial will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery, where full military honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and the United States Army Honor Guard.
