Jennifer Friend Obituary

Jennifer Lynn Friend, 42, of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 in Clarksburg. She was born April 2, 1979 in Clarksburg, daughter of Dearl L Cox, Jr, of Wisconsin, and the late Marsha Goslin Simmons.

Jennifer graduated from Liberty High School and went on to attend WV Northern Community College. She was employed as a caregiver and LPN at the summit Center for several years. Jennifer enjoyed watching sports, with her favorite teams being WVU and the Pittsburg Steelers. She also enjoyed fishing.

In addition to her father, Jennifer is survived by her step father, Bradly Simmons of Elkins; ex-husband, Matthew Friend and son, Brayden Friend, both of Clarksburg; two step brothers; as well as several close friends.
