Jeanne Marie Childers

Jeanne Marie Childers, 60, of Clarksburg, passed away surrounded by her loving family at United Hospital Center on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born in Clarksburg on June 18, 1962, the daughter of the late William Clarence Childers Jr. and Martha Lee (Pritchard) Childers.

Jeanne was a babysitter for many children throughout the years. She enjoyed watching the children and the time she spent with them. She also dearly loved her dogs, stuffed teddy bears and being with her own grandbabies.

Jeanne is survived by one son, Matthew Shane Childers and wife, Olivia, of Salem; six grandchildren, Gavin, Devin, Gage, Hayleigh, Aubrey and Jalynn; five siblings, Jeffrey Allen Childers and wife Lois of Clarksburg, Kay Martin and husband, Stephen of Clarksburg, John Michael Childers of Clarksburg, Lou Ellen Smith and husband Gary of Clarksburg, Jan Carlton Childers and wife Leslie of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by three siblings, James Earnest Childers, Cheryl Ann Childers, and Carma Lee Day.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 12-5 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Stonewall Park Cemetery in Stonewood. Online condolences may be sent to davisfuneralhomewv.com.
