Janna May Westfall

Janna May Westfall, 89, of Clarksburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at United Hospital Center, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 1, 1936, in Clarksburg, a cherished daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Squires Clark.

For 66 beautiful years, she shared a life filled with love and devotion with her beloved husband, Jerry E. Westfall, whom she married on October 23, 1959. Their marriage was a testament to enduring commitment, partnership, and deep affection.

Janna leaves behind a family who will forever hold her in their hearts: her son, Jeff Westfall and his wife, Elizabeth, of Charleston, WV; her daughter, Julie Gettings and her husband, Mike, of Fairmont; and her treasured grandchildren, Jeremy Westfall, Jordan Westfall, Julian Westfall, and Sarah Gettings. She is also survived by her dear sister, Mary Sue Spahr and her husband, Phil, of Fairborn, OH, along with several loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janna was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom Clark and Keith Clark, whom she loved dearly.

A proud graduate of Washington Irving High School, Janna dedicated many years of service to C&P Telephone, later AT&T, until her well-earned retirement. She was a lifelong member of Broad Oaks United Methodist Church, where her voice uplifted others as a faithful member of the choir. She was an active member of the Pioneers, serving as CEOS, and a devoted member of the Eastern Star.

Janna found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life, crafting baskets, quilting with care, and creating handmade treasures that will be cherished for generations. She and Jerry especially enjoyed camping together at Revelle’s Camp, where they made many happy memories with family and friends. Above all, she loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a faithful friend whose warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Route 98, Clarksburg, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 3-7 pm and on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon, with Pastor Sam Cale officiating.
