Janice Linn Weese

Janice Linn Weese, 80, of Hepzibah passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at United Hospital Center with her family by her side. She was born on April 20, 1945 in Erie, WV, a daughter of the late Ortie and Lucy (Barnes) Sendling.

Although Janice did not have children of her own, she was very close with her surviving nieces and nephews. She loved family time and being outdoors, whether it was camping, playing cards, or just sitting on the porch alongside her little fur baby, Peanut.

In addition to her parents, Janice was also preceded in death by the love of her life, Paul “David” Weese, with whom she spent 52 wonderful years.

Janice was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she is preceded in death by her six brothers: James, Charles, Russ, Cecil, Roy Sendling, and Oren Rebrook Jr., as well as four sisters: Wanita Tate, Dorothy Hackney, JoAnn Cunningham, and Virginia Armbrester.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank you” to the staff at Clarksburg Health Care Center for all their wonderful care.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr. Clarksburg, on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 4:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 6:30pm with Donald Sendling officiating.
