James "Jimmy" Anthony Crites

James “Jimmy” Anthony Crites, 69, of Clarksburg passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born on July 2, 1952, son of the William “Bill” and Olive Marie Williams Crites.

Jimmy worked in Maintenance at Walmart for over twenty years. He collected everything and anything, his favorites items were lawnmowers and weed eaters. He was superfast with mowing and the yard had to be perfect.  Jimmy was an avid Miami Dolphins Fan. He enjoyed hunting and driving through the country.  He loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.   

Jimmy is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Judy Kay McIntyre Crites whom he married on October 29, 1973; three children, James Anthony Crites II and wife Brittney, Fairmont, John William Crites and Julia, Clarksburg, Jennie Marie Skidmore and husband Donald, Clarksburg; eleven grandchildren, Seth Crites and Tyanna, Austin Crites, Makaylan Crites, Leonardo Crites, Brittany McIntyre, Lakota Ware and Dustin, Brandi Crites, Jacklyn Sandy, John Crites Jr, Michael Skidmore and Jacob Skidmore; five great grandchildren, Zoey, Leveonia, Benjamin, Luston and Stoane Jr; seven siblings, Mary Louise Wilson, Morgantown, Lynn Wooldidge, Las Vegas, NV, Karen Howell and Alvin, Lumberport, Regina Walker, Weston, Charlie Crites, Clarksburg, Paul “Eddie” Crites, Philippi, Josephine Shaffer and Willie, KY; several nieces and nephews.  

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 4-7PM. Online condolences can be made at www.DavisFuneralHomeWV.com.
