James “Jim” Lawrence Sellers, 76 of Lost Creek passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his residence. He was born on July 16, 1944 in Clarksburg, the son of the late Clyde L and Juanita Harris Sellers. Jim was one of seven children.
Jim graduated from Unidis High School, Class of 1963. He owned and operated Sellers Truck N’ RV, LLC and Sellers Tubes N’ Hoses for over thirty years before retiring to the farm to enjoy riding his UTV with his buddy Jax and enjoyed his grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to camp with his friends. Jim was best known for being “Mr. Fixit”, he could fix anything, anywhere. He had a big heart, was selfless, giving, and most importantly non-judging.
Jim is survived by his wife of fifty six years, Mary Giles Sellers whom he married August 8, 1964; daughters, Jodi Lynn Reynolds and Allen, Chesapeake, VA; Cinnamon Renay Sellers, Lost Creek; grandchildren, Nicholas Barker and Rebecca, Curtis Barker, Joshua Barker and Sarah, James “Jim” Sellers III, Brittany Scheuvront and Bryan, Daniel Sellers and Jessica Suschak; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Cleawana Drayer and Lou, Enola, PA, Linda Stanley and Junior, Philippi, Paul Sellers and Nancy, Morgantown; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son, James “Jimmy Sellers Jr, siblings, Don Sellers, Steve Sellers and Carol Barnes.
