James "Jim" Franklin Merriner

James “Jim” Franklin Merriner, 101, of Clarksburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by love. He was born on May 26, 1924, in Hundred, WV, the son of the late Robert Lee and Rebecca Taylor Merriner.

Jim lived a long and meaningful life, remembered for his steady kindness and quiet strength. He worked for many years as an accounting manager in retail, where he was admired for his hard work, dedication, and gentle spirit.

He was a beloved brother and uncle, always holding a special place in the hearts of those who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Betty Merriner, along with many nieces and nephews who will forever treasure his love and guidance.

In addition to his parents, Jim was welcomed into heaven by his siblings Harold, Wilber, Charles, Junior, Cecile, Ancel, and Gerald Merriner, who now celebrate their reunion with him.

Interment will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
