James "Jim" Lance Obituary

James “Jim” Lee Lance, 85, of Shinnston passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Clarksburg. He was born on October 5, 1935 in Coalfax, WV a son of the late Clarence Lance and Irene Freeman Lance.

He is survived by three children, David Lance and Julie Lance and Brenda Perkins; one brother Harry Lance and wife Terri of Fairmont.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sons and one daughter; one sister Lucille Carroll.

Jim was a coal miner and then he enjoyed working on his farm.
