James David Norman

James David Norman, 73 of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his residence with family by his side.   He was born September 24, 1946 in Clarksburg, son of the late Stanley Warren and Bessie Edith Amos Norman. James worked at Pony Express Courier Service and delivered newspapers. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially Football, Hockey and NASCAR, and also traveling and gardening. He is survived by his three children, Richard Norman, Michele Cottrill and Ronnie, and Robert Norman and Nikki all of Clarksburg and their mother, Gloria Wilson Norman, Clarksburg; thirteen grandchildren, Justin, Kylie, J.R. Chelsea, Travis, Courtney, Connor, Jaycob, Tyler, Elijah, Cameron, Braaden, and Torince; one brother, Ronnie Norman and Mary Sue, Clarksburg; one sister, Sharon Norman of Clarksburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Norman.  Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Services at 6:00PM with Pastor DJ Hoff officiating.
