James Edward Maloney

James Edward Maloney, 81, of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born on February 10, 1943 in Grafton, WV. James is the son of the late Billie Ellis Maloney and Evelyn Catherine (Wittman) Maloney of Grafton, WV.

James is survived by his children, James E. Maloney Jr., and wife Katrina of Lamsburg VA., John David Maloney and wife Johnna of Clarksburg WV.

In addition to his children, James is survived by two Grandchildren, James Maloney III, John D. Maloney II and five Great Grandchildren, Xavier James, Caydense Aliyah, Chloe Evelyn Grace, Gian’ Luka; five siblings, Bill Maloney, Bob Maloney, Nancy (Maloney) Rush, Steven Maloney and Donny Maloney.

James was preceded in death by his sisters Betty Maloney Mutaffis and Crissy Maloney, brother Tommy Dale Maloney and Grandaughter Jesseca-Ann Marie Maloney.

James graduated from Grafton High School, he was a production assembler at Lockheed Martin for 35 years. He was a proud member of the I.A.M lodge 1027 where he served two terms as union president. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed.
