Ila Rae (Cone) Ryan

Ila Cone Ryan, 82, of Main Street, West Milford, passed away into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, April 5th 2021, at her residence.

She was born November 11th 1938, in Arlington, VA, a daughter of the late Edna Cone. 

In addition to her mother, Ila was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years, Michael Taylor Ryan on September 14, 2013 and whom she married on Jan 1, 1978.

Ila is survived by one son, Michael Taylor “Snappy” Ryan II of West Milford; one step daughter, Deborah Ryan O’Malley and husband Michael of Stevensville, MD; one step son, Kenneth Lawrence Ryan and wife Molly of Bowie, MD; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Gilbert, Alison, Chelsea, Kaden and Jency Ryan; one great grandson, Robert Lee Gilbert III of MD.

Ila was a Nurse Anesthetist she enjoyed skiing, camping, reading, crossword puzzles, church activities and loved the beach.
