He was born on November 14, 1955, to the late Herbert “Bill” Junior Roush and Mary Elizabeth Roush Washburn.

Herbert was a hardworking man by nature and known for his strong work ethic throughout his life. In his quieter moments, he enjoyed watching science fiction series such as Star Trek and Star Wars. In his earlier years, Herbert enjoyed traveling across the United States, taking long drives to experience the beauty of the nation he loved.
He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of simple pleasures, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life.
