Henry Amos Strader

Henry Amos Strader, 79 of Jane Lew passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Stonewall Memorial Hospital. He was born August 28, 1942 in Weston, WV, the son of the late John Hayes and Hazel Dell Hitt Strader.

Henry worked in multiple glass factories as a glass worker for over forty-seven years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching birds, riding four-wheelers and being outdoors.

Henry is survived by two sons, David Wayne Strader and wife Trista and Henry Steven Strader and wife Tammy all of Weston; four grandchildren, Randi Strader Radcliff and Tim, Steven Strader, Aaron Strader and Angelica Strader; one brother, Tommy Goldsmith of Weston; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Elizabeth Miller Strader in October 2015; two brothers, John Strader Jr. and Rosco “Rocky” Strader; step mother, Lavina Strader.

Family will receive friends at Broad Run Baptist Church in Jane Lew, WV, on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 11AM until time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM with Pastor Dave Phillips presiding.
