Helen "Marlene" Mayle

Helen “Marlene” Mayle, 68, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday August 5, 2024 in Bridgeport at United Hospital Center.  She was born on June 18, 1956 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Perry Ferguson and Virginia Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mark Moore; and also her second husband Lawrence “Larry” Lewis Blevins;

She is survived by two sons, Steven Moore of Clarksburg and also Bruce Moore of Clarksburg; former husband, James Mayle ; two stepchildren, Kayla Blevins and Larry Blevins; three grandchildren, Michaela Marie Vallelonga, Robert Schoonover and Shandon Schoonover; one great grandson, Benton Milne; siblings, Betty Young, Carolyn Green, Judy Ferguson Russell, Debbie Eagle, Jerry Ferguson, Kenneth Ferguson and Sue Winters.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Virgil Ferguson, Perry Ferguson, David Ferguson and Jimmy Ferguson.

Marlene was a graduate of Victory High School, class of 1974 and also a graduate of Salem College in Nursing.  She was employed at Walmart and Goody’s and worked as a nurse at Fairmont General.

She enjoyed travelling and cooking and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley.
