Harry "Bob" Tresize

Harry “Bob” Tresize, 97 of Bridgeport went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born November 10, 1924, son of the late Lester Tresize and Violet Shillingburg.

Harry served in the US Army 17th Airborne Division during WWII. He married while serving in France to the late Denise Helen Marchal Tresize. Harry enjoyed his visits with his great grandchildren Madison, Adaline, Seth and Noah and cherished the special relationship he had with them. He was also an avid dog lover. Harry remained very patriotic throughout his life.

Harry is survived by his one son, Terry Norman Tresize and wife Helen Star Tresize of Nutter Fort; one son-in-law, Eugene Compton of Bridgeport; five grandchildren, Michael Tresize, Ashley Allman and husband James, Richard Compton and wife Carla, Jonathan Compton and wife Loretta and Michelle Compton; ten great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Harry is preceded in death by one daughter, Sherri Compton; his two sisters, Edna Rector and Maxine Romine.

Honoring Harry's wishes no service will be held. Harry's family would like to pay special thanks to all the staff at Stonerise of Clarksburg and Amedysis Hospice for the incredible care and compassion they showed to Harry.
