Harold “Buzzy” Lindsey Vincent, 80, of Gregory’s Run, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 in Salem. He was born on July 29, 1942 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Willard Demsey Vincent and Myrtle “Lucille” Cane Vincent.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Twyla Swiger Vincent, whom he married on November 18, 1961.
Harold is survived by three children, Angela Jean Vincent Maxwell and her husband Joe of Clarksburg, Denny Harold Vincent and his wife Donna of Clarksburg, and Twyla “Red” Vincent Coffman and her husband Blaine “Scott” of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Denny C. Vincent and his wife Jessica of Buckhannon, Adam H. Maxwell of Clarksburg, Brandon S. Coffman and his wife Elyse of Fairmont, Matthew E. Vincent and his wife Trista of Clarksburg, Kevin A. Coffman of Fairmont; five great grandchildren, Cole Vincent, Ella Sawyer, Ariel Vincent, Scarlett Vincent, and Khloe Coffman; Brothers and sisters, Harley “Sonny” Vincent and his wife Margaret of Mount Clare, Richard “Peach” Vincent of Bridgeport, Alice Haney and husband Tim of Flemington, Myrna Vecchio and her husband Bill of Charlestown, brother-in-law Rob Harris and life partner of his sister Janet Parks, Mike Sprouse of Philippi.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Jenny Lee Harris, Mary Jones, and Janet Parks, and sister- in- law Ginger Vincent, brother in law Jimmy Parks; and one grandson Leeman Joseph Maxwell.
Harold was a graduate of Bridgeport high school class of 1962, where he played football. He was a Union Certified Welder and a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 152 and 798. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles and horses. He was a member of the free masons and he was also a gentleman farmer.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301 for visitation Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 1:00-6:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday October 3, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tammy Swiger Phillips presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dell.
