Goff “Bussie” Everett Allen

Goff “Bussie” Everett Allen, 87, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at his residence. He was born on August 22, 1937 in Philippi, WV a son of the late James Everett and Marjorie Emma Hess Allen.

Bussie graduated from Philip High School, Class of 1956. He served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Lockheed Martin with over thirty years of service. He was an avid squirrel hunter, enjoyed reading, woodworking, and was a member of the muzzle loader club. Family time and Sunday Dinners was the highlight of his week. 

Bussie is survived by his four children, Kimberly D Allen, Atlanta, GA; David E Allen (Barbara), Bridgeport, Daniel B Allen (Feng), Atlanta, GA; Dawn A Swiger (Bub), Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Kristian Jordan, Michaela Allen Riddle (Benji), and Leea Swiger; two special great grandchildren, Paisley and Olivia;  siblings, James  M Allen, Mannington, Mary E Steerman (Charlie), Belington, Carl K Allen (Betty), PA, Essie Tomasi (Michael), Mannington; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bussie was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Emille Allen on April 18, 2015; one sister, Dorothy Talkington.
