Gloria Dawn (Martin) Sandy

Gloria Dawn Sandy, 60 of Clarksburg passed away on March 29, 2024 at United Hospital Center with family by her side. She was born on October 9, 1963, in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the Lawrence David Martin and Patricia Ann Hickman Tweedy.

Gloria graduated from Washington Irving High School. She worked at JCPenny and Tomaro’s Bakery. She enjoyed being a mother and fishing.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Eugene Sandy on March 17, 2001; three children, Amanda Flanigan, Clarksburg, Donald Flanigan, Waynesburg, PA, Valarie Butler, Clarksburg; grandchildren, Lewis Davis, Tori Mae Flanigan, Kylier Butler, Dakota Marie Flanigan, Samera Dawn Butler, Kyleah Joanne Butler, and Wyatt Joseph Flanigan; two sisters, Carolyn Harris, and Virginia Harris, both of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Martin II and William Martin.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
