Glendora Paugh Obituary

With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, the family of Glendora Paugh, 93, of Clarksburg, announces her peaceful passing on Friday, June 26, 2026, at United Hospital Center.

Born on February 10, 1933, in Bonnie, West Virginia, Glendora was the daughter of the late Elmer J. Westfall and Ona Pearl Stout Westfall. Throughout her ninety-three years, she lived with quiet strength, unwavering faith, and a servant's heart, leaving a lasting imprint on all who were blessed to know her.

Glendora is lovingly remembered by her children, Jackie "Jack" Lee Paugh, Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Cookeville, Tennessee; Judith "Judy" Manley Shingleton and her husband, Steve, of Clarksburg; and Justina Ogden and her husband, Glen, of Bridgeport. Her greatest pride and joy was her growing family, which includes twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carried a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her sisters, Lenora Gaines and her husband, Jack, of Stonewood, and Linda Griffith and her husband, Bill, of Naples, Florida, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

She now joins in eternal peace her beloved husband, Jackie "Jack" Lee Paugh; her son, Joey Paugh; her daughter, Jerida Floyd; her parents; and her brothers, Vance Westfall and Edwin J. Westfall.

A graduate of Roosevelt-Wilson High School, Class of 1950, Glendora built a life centered on faith, family, and unconditional love. In her younger years, Glendora loved cooking, baking, and hosting family holiday meals, creating cherished memories around the table. She found great joy in helping care for her grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to celebrate them, always remembering their birthdays, Christmases, graduations, and other special milestones.

She also loved spending time outdoors, planting flowers, and tending to her yard, where she enjoyed the beauty and peace of nature.  Glendora often spent quiet moments on her back porch, watching the birds, feeding the squirrels, enjoying the changing seasons, and appreciating the simple blessings that surrounded her each day.

Above all, Glendora was a woman whose life reflected her deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. As a devoted member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, now Stonewood Fellowship, she faithfully served for many years as a deaconess and in the children's ministry and dedicated her time to supporting her church family.

Although her family grieves the loss of her comforting presence, they find peace knowing she has been welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior and reunited with those who went before her. Her gentle spirit, selfless love, and the countless memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Michael Angotti and Dr. John Angotti and the 7 North Nursing Staff at UHC for their kindness and care provided to Glendora and her family.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Route 98, Clarksburg, on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Jerry Lewis of the Stonewood Fellowship officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
