Glenda Garcia

Glenda “Rusty” McHale Garcia, 85 of Stonewood passed away on January 20, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. She was born February 6, 1934 in West Milford, daughter of the late Elsie Simons.

Rusty had retired from the restaurant business. She was a volunteer for the VA Hospital. She enjoyed taking care of others and spending time with her family. She was thought of as another mother to a lot of people.  

Rusty was survived by her husband, Benjamin T. Garcia; children, William McHale of New Castle, PA, Lou Ann Richmond of Warren, OH, John McHale of Stonewood, and Susie McHale of Frederick, MD; brother, Glen Rexroad of Lumberport; six grandchildren, Charles Matuke, Shawna Paugh, Nicole Richmond, Joe McHale, Amanda McHale, Justin McHale; five great grandchildren, Gianna, Noah, Chasten, Mya, and Gabriel; and several nieces and nephews.

Rusty is preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela McHale and two brothers, John and Gary Simons.

Even in death, Rusty continues to take care of others by donating herself to the Human Gift Registry.  Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 23601 starting at 2:00pm until the time of service at 4:00pm with Pastor Michael Holyfield. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to the Clarksburg Church of God, 332 Monticello Avenue, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
