Geraldine Lee (Pettit) Wentz

Geraldine Lee (Pettit) Wentz, 95, of Bridgeport passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Bridgeport Health Care Center. She was born on August 16, 1925 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Russell and Sudie Phillips Pettit.

Geraldine graduated from Roosevelt Wilson High School. She was a homemaker. Geraldine enjoyed shopping at the mall and doing crafts.

Geraldine is survived by two children, Leland Gail Wentz, II and Patricia Lee Wentz; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Leland Gail Wentz, Sr on February 14, 2011; two sisters, Opal Pettit Frye and Iwanda Mae Jay.

Family will receive friends for visitation at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 1PM with Richard Settles officiating.
