Gary Wayne Sendling

Gary Wayne Sendling, 69, of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at home with family by his side. He was born April 2, 1951 in Clarksburg, son of the late Walter Charles and Agnes Pearl Maxwell Sendling.   

Gary retired from the Meadowbrook Zinc plant after 28 years as a Furnace Fabricator.  He loved hunting, camping, and being at the farm. Gary loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.   

Gary is survived by his wife of forty years, Ruth Ann Bennett Sendling whom he married February 9, 1980; three children, Melissa Ganoe and Larry, West Union, Gary W Sendling II and Autumn, Sardis, and Kristy D Owens and Buck, Clarksburg; eight grandchildren, Desiray, Brooke, Kierstyn, Gavin, Landon, Leila, Jackson and Macklin; one brother, Junior Sendling, Enterprise; like a brother, Danny Sendling and Judy, Belington; special nephew, Chuck White, Enterprise; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by three siblings, Levon Watts, Bob Sendling, and Mary Jane White.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 2-7PM.  Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 11:00AM with Rev Julian Galford presiding.
