Gary Lee McKinney

Gary Lee McKinney, 63, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at his residence.  He was born on October 24, 1961 in Pekin, IL, a son of the late Lee Edgar McKinney and Mary Lou Mendenhall McKinney.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Tonya Lee Connolly McKinney, whom he married on April 3, 2012.

He is also survived by one son, Christopher McKinney and two daughters, Selena Critchfield and Samantha Matthis; and one sister, Dora; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary was employed as a cook at various restaurants in the Bridgeport and Clarksburg area as well as in Parkersburg.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, music, video games and watching wrestling.
