Freddie Lee Loudin, Sr., 87, of Clarksburg, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on June 25, 1934 in Glenville, WV, the son of the late Howard Lincoln Loudin and Minnie Minerva Tucker Loudin Hustead.
Freddie served his country in the United States Army and Marines. He was a truckdriver by trade and retired owning Loudin Excavating and continued to tinker. He enjoyed listening and playing music and could play the Harmonica, Spoons, Guitar, Drums and Washboard. He loved his large family gatherings.
Freddie is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Donna Joyce Johnson Loudin; eleven children, Freddie Loudin Jr and Becky, Stonewood, Robert Loudin and Lois, Clarksburg, Terry Loudin and Sharon, Clarksburg, Larry Loudin, Wooster, OH, Eddie Loudin, Clarksburg, Tina Smith and Mark, Jacksonville, FL, Brian Loudin, Clarksburg, Jeff Loudin, Lumberport, Mike Loudin, Rittman, OH, Rhonda Lyon and Dave, Clarksburg, Denise Forman, Clarksburg; thirty grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren; one sister Barbara Riley, Clarksburg; his dog Riley; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa Loudin; two grandchildren; brothers, Eugene, Onia, Paul, Ralph, and Howard Junior Louden; sisters, Nora Fury, Maggie Westfall, Evelyn Palmer, Mary Catherine Louden, Mildred Carrol, Colleen Faye and Betty Clevenger.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 3:30PM until time of funeral service at 7:30PM with Pastor Bobby Bright officiating. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:00AM Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Mount Clare where full military honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and US Marines Honor Guard.
