Franklin “Frank” Richard Hanlin, 83 of Elk Garden, WV died on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Pierpont Center in Fairmont, WV. He was born January 9, 1937 in Shaw, WV, son of the late, Gabriel Blake and Virgin Virginia Kitzmiller Hanlin. His hobbies were farming, hunting and fishing. Frank retired from Bosch and Lomb after twenty years where he was a polisher for lens. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Hanlin of Elk Garden and Lori Riggleman and husband Rodney of Fisher, WV; grandchildren, Sierra Hanlin, Anica Warner and Kevin Hartman; a great grandson, Lucas Kuhn; brothers, Dennis Kuhn, Oakland, MD; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean Hottle Hanlin on April 5, 2018; son, Richard Hanlin; two brothers, Wayne Jacob Hanlin, Charles Edward Hanlin; sister, Genevieve Doras (Jenny) Shiplett-Hanlin.
