Frank Jay Rowe

Frank Jay Rowe, 67, of Lumberport, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2026. Born on March 1, 1958, in Clarksburg, Frank was the cherished son of Gertrude Louise (Shears) Yegers of Shinnston and the late Frank Lewis Rowe.

Frank lived life with a sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors that defined who he was. He found peace and joy in traveling, hiking through the wilderness, and camping under open skies. Known for his outgoing nature, sharp intelligence, and honest, straightforward way of speaking, Frank had a presence that was impossible to ignore and easy to admire.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Marty Rowe of Bridgeport, and Crystal Mano of Shinnston. Frank was a proud uncle to his two nieces, Ashley Mano, and Misty Dawn Edwards and nephew, Nicholas Mano, and a devoted great-uncle to his great-niece, Bella, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

In addition to his father, Frank was preceded in death by his siblings: Louis Rowe, Lorry Rowe, Denver Rowe, and Kurt Rowe and Wayne Rowe, whom he now joins in eternal rest.

Frank’s adventurous spirit, honesty, and love for life will live on through those who knew him and loved him, and his memory will forever be carried in their hearts.

A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Scott Davis presiding.  Online condolences may be offered at DavisFuneralHomeWV.com.  Davis Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rowe family.
