Frank Floyd Robinette

Frank Floyd Robinette, 81, of Clarksburg, WV passed away at home, with family by his side on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was born in Clarksburg on May 8, 1941, son of the late James E. Robinette and Josephine Lapon Robinette.

Frank graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1959. He also graduated from Fairmont State College with a degree in Business Administration. He married the love of his life, Sandra on January 7, 1986. Frank was City Manager for several States and Counties. He was also employed as a Hospital Finance Controller for several years.

In addition to his loving wife, Frank is survived by five children, Michele Gifford and husband Robert, of Shinnston, and Brian Shreves and wife Michelle of Buckhannon, Frank, Jody and James;  three grandchildren, Desirae Greathouse of Bridgeport, Devon M. Shreves of Tampa, Fl., and Callie White of Buckhannon; two great-grandchildren, Brynna Greathouse and Isaiah Greathouse; one brother, James Robinette and wife Sarah, of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Lydia Hevey.

A Memorial Service will be held at Davis Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday April 22, 2023 at 11:00am with Father Patsy Iaquinta.
