Frances Jean (Kroll) White

Frances Jean Kroll White, 77 of Bridgeport passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at home with family by her side.  She was born September 5, 1942 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Alexander and Pauline Poluck Kroll.

Jean was a member of Trinity Assembly of God, and loved her church dearly. She was an inspiration, prayer warrior, and a great witness to so many lives. She loved the Lord so much and shared the love of Jesus wherever she was. She was like a grandma to so many children that her daughter Jennifer cared for. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling, and reading her Bible and various Christian books.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wayne Lee White; daughters, Jennifer Lea White and Deborah Joan White of Bridgeport; nephew, Jack Alexander Shingleton of Manassas Park, VA; family, Tom and Tammie (Poluck) Shumate, Dawn (Shumate) VanPelt and daughter Ava VanPelt, Kurt and Erris Shumate and children Lucas and Paislea, Louis and Debbie Poluck and sons Eric and Todd (Kirstin) and granddaughter Josie, Brenda Kroll, Vicky and David Morris, Hildagard and Richard Fogel and son Rick Fogel, John and Ruth Kroll, Paul and Michelle Kroll, Jerome Kroll, Mark and Sue Kroll, David and Barbara Kroll, Brenda Biafora, Diana (Bernie) Biafora, Joseph Biafore Jr., Stephen Biafora and children, Biafora family living in California; the Bennett family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Kroll Shingelton; brother in law, Jack Shingleton; uncles, Louis Poluck, Joseph Biafora, and Tony Carlone; and aunts, Eleanor Poluck, Stella Biafora, Helen Poluck, and Alice Carlone; family, Jeanie and Michael Kroll, Linda Biafora.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 2:00PM-7:00PM with proper distancing and face mask required. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Sam Freeman officiating. We will be webcasting the service on her memorial page on the funeral home website. If for some reason the webcast drops we will finish recording and reload once completed to watch. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Cemetery.
