Estella Marie (Fernandez) Kesling

Estella Marie Fernandez Kesling, 87, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Maplewood Nursing Home.  She was born on June 3, 1937 in Donora, PA, a daughter of the late Angel and Mary Catherine Probasco Fernandez.

Estella owned and worked as a Daycare provider. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary VFW where she was former president. She enjoyed collecting teapots, angels, bells and Coca-Cola merchandise.

Estella is survived her children, Jamie Leigh Cuthbert and partner KT Tinney and Jason Phillip Cuthbert and wife Jennifer Cuthbert, both of PA; four grandchildren, Dana, Stewart, Lynzi, and Kathryn; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Joan Joll, Rita Curran and spouse Francis, and Marylou Reynolds, all of PA.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Birdell Kesling on January 3, 2021; two daughters, Carol Rebecca Cuthbert and Debra Lynn Battle; siblings, Barbara Fernandez Hoffman, Betty Duda, Angel Fernandez, and Lynda Petroske.

Family will receive friends at Frye Funeral Home, 427 W Main St, Monongahela, PA 15063, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 1:00-3:00pm and 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11:30am. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery.
