Eric McIe

Eric McIe, 61, of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at UPMC Mercy Hospital.  He was born on December 6, 1961 in Lorain, OH, a son of the late Randall McIe and Dixie Donahue Stemple.

He is survived by his longtime companion of 24 years, Barb Channell.

He is also survived by his children, Brandi Moore and her husband Dallas of Lost Creek, Tony McIe of Clarksburg, Destiny Zvonaric of Shinnston, Travis McIe and his wife Savannah of Salem, Shayla McIntyre and her husband Caleb of Salem, McKenzie McIe of Reynoldsville, Blake McIe of Clarksburg, and Cage McIe of Clarksburg; step children, Nick Scardina of Shinnston and Sal Scardina of Clarksburg; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; five brothers, Doug McIe of Webster Springs, Dusty Glover of Anmoore, Kirk McIe of Clarksburg, Rodney McIe of Jarvisville and Shane McIe of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews; and his spouse Amity McIe.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Glover, Gary McIe and Robbie McIe.

Eric enjoyed working construction and he had an energetic way about himself.  He worked nonstop and was a great provider for his family.  He enjoyed working on cars, shooting pool and hanging out with his family and friends.  He also loved animals, especially his dogs, Diesel, Patches and Angel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his care fund.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 3-7 pm where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm. with pastor Bill Oldaker presiding.   Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.DavisFuneralHomeWV.com.
