Emogene “McCartney” Pendlosky, 85 of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday April 17, 2022 at United Hospital Center with John by her side. She was born October 25, 1936 Webster Springs, WV, the daughter of the late Minter C. McCartney and Dolly Bell “Moore” McCartney.
Emogene was a hostess at the Wilderness Plantation. She enjoyed taking afternoon drives, bathing in the sun at the beach, grew her own garden full of flowers, loved her pets and spending time with her husband John Pendlosky and her family.
Emogene is survived by her husband, John James Pendlosky, whom she married on July 21, 1973; three children, Ricky Eugene Dilley of Nutter Fort; Gary Steven Dilley of Clarksburg; Davy Claren Dilley and his wife Melissa, Marietta, OH; a special granddaughter, Sabrina Flint and her husband Don, Clarksburg; and several additional grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Emogene was preceded in death by two children, Pamela Sharlene Ayers and Marvin Rusty Dilley; one brother, Otis McCartney.
