Emmett Andrew “Andy” Linch, 62, of Clarksburg passed away on October 26, 2024, after an extended illness. He was born on September 22, 1962, in Clarksburg, the son of the late Emmett Arnett and Erna Mae Miller Linch.
Andy worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals as a Materials Handler. He also worked at Heiner’s Bread Company and Coca-Cola Company, which prompted his collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia. Andy enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
Andy is survived by one son, Isaiah Linch and companion Danielle Satterfield of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Cheyenne Ramsey, Colton Linch, Ayden Linch, Paxtin Linch, all of Clarksburg, Hunter Varner, Gavin Varner, both of Ohio; three step grandchildren, Aaron Flanigan, Gretchen Scheueront, and Carson Haymond, all of Clarksburg; three siblings, Lavania Linch of Stonewood, Ramona Nicholas of Morgantown, and Arnetta Freeman and spouse Garry of Fairmont; his caregiver, Eddie Sykes whom he considered to be a step son; 14 nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one son, Emmett Aaron Linch; one brother, Howard Bradford Linch; two sisters, Twilia Linch Riley and Melody Linch Smith; three nephews, Michael Joseph Kelly, Adam Bradford Linch, and Isaac Matthew Linch; two nieces, Hannah Elizabeth Linch and Mandy Riley Hendershot.

Per his request he was cremated. Family will receive friends, at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, to celebrate Andy’s life, on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 4:00PM-6:00PM.
