Elizabeth “Liggy” Bell Davis

Elizabeth “Liggy” Bell Davis, 71, of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at her residence.  She was born May 12, 1950 in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of the late Robert Henry and Ella May Fentress Davis.

Liggy graduated from Victory High School Class of 1970 and Clarksburg Beauty Academy in 1971. She worked at Stylorama as a hairdresser for over thirty years. She enjoyed collecting ceramics, coins and clowns, doing crafts, macramé, painting landscapes and portraits. She was a very classy lady in doing hair, makeup and being creative.

Liggy is survived by two siblings, Frankie Hinzman, Clarksburg and “Tommy” Thomas Davis and wife Sandy of Pottsville, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by three siblings, Robert I Davis, Charles H Davis and Mary DeFazio.

Per Elizabeth’s request she will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM with Reverend James Harris officiating.  Inurnment will be held at  Coplin Cemetery.
