Edward Michael Best, 69, of Clarksburg passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born December 23, 1950 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Edward Best Sr and Laverne Hannan.

Edward graduated high school from Lane Tech High School, Class of 1969. He served in the United States Army and the United States Navy. He worked and retired from a career as a Quality Control Inspector. His hobbies included playing cards, shooting and working on guns, and spending time with his family.

Edward is survived by his daughter Nicole Mills and her husband Charles Mills of Clarksburg, along with two grandchildren, Samantha and CJ Mills.

Edward was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret Theresa Schwarz Best in 1996.
