Edna "Janie" Jane (Sprouse) Davis

Edna Jane “Janie” Davis, 63, of Spelter WV passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at her son’s residence with family by her side.

She was born January 30, 1958 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Donald Lee and Lilly Faye Ancell Sprouse.

Janie was a homemaker and enjoyed watching movies and yard-saling. She also collected knick knacks and loved black onyx. She was a member of the Rinehart Community Church.  Most of all, she loved her family.

Janie is survived by one daughter, Ada McGary, Anmoore;  three sons, Donald Harper and companion, Natalie, Spelter, John Davis and wife Patty, Clarksburg,  Johnny Sprouse and companion Janet, Clarksburg; siblings, Rhoda McCord and Paul, Dawson Mines, Penny Sprouse and Donald Sprouse both of OH; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Eddie” Jackson Davis on May 25, 2016; one sister, Belinda Faye Sprouse.

Friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, Rt. 98, Clarksburg, on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm with Pastor Jeff Burnside preceding.
