Edgar Paul McDougal, II, 75, of Nutter Fort, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Bridgeport. He was born on February 26, 1950 in Clarksburg, a son of the late Edgar Paul McDougal and Catherine Davis McDougal.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Deborah Kay Anderson McDougal who passed away on September 13, 1997.
He is survived by two children, Heather Leeson and husband Michael of Clarksburg and Todd McDougal and wife Wendy Iaquinta McDougal of Bridgeport; eight grandchildren, Tyler Hall and wife Bethany of Bridgeport, Matthew Hall and wife Tori of Clarksburg, Michael Hall and wife Jordan of Good Hope, Luke Hall of Clarksburg, Ben McDougal, Jax McDougal, Anderson McDougal and Easton McDougal all of Bridgeport; seven great grandchildren, Liam Hall, Carter Hall and Murphy Hall, Kinsley Hall, Kendall Hall, Alyvia Hall, Alayna Hall; two sisters, Judith Siders and Beverly Kilburn, both of Columbus, OH.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra “Cassie” Duncan; brother-in-law, James H. Duncan.
Ed graduated from WI High School, class of 1969. He was employed with Ingersoll-Rand and Gold Bond National Gypsum and also owned his own businesses. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially boating and fishing as well as taking care of his vegetable garden. He was very involved watching his grandchildren play sports and he was an avid WVU fan. He was also a car enthusiast. Ed’s caring and giving personality showed through his entire life.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon with Reverend Sissy Hebb presiding.
